TSS Flush mount choke tube

Post by Fatmo »

Here we go again, Sorry! New Franchi Affinity 20gauge 24" barrel.. I was wondering some opinions about using a flush mounted .565 -.575 Carlson etc. choke tube.. Not looking for 5000 in a 10" at 40yards! 165 - 200 in a 10" at 40yard would be plenty to cover an Oh Zhit shot ( 1 5/8 ounce # 9 )
I don't want that extra hangin out my barrel or spending big $ on a choke tube to get what I want..

Richard, you could try the full tube that came with the gun, it should give you numbers similar to what you are wanting. I think I have a .575 flush Carlson's that I got for it and never even tried it, if the full tube don't suit you gimmy a holler and I will try to find it.

I recommend a 562 IndianCreek for it. I can help you get one if needed

I’d try the full choke that came with the gun. It will perform better than the numbers you posted I believe.
