Yes, new ones have a rear drain. If there's a complaint about Blackstone it's grease catcher, alot of mods out there.

These things are bad azz, super easy to cook on

I was trying to wait for Father’s Day, but my wife and I saw a BS commercial last night and she asked why I didn’t get one. Guess that hint I dropped didn’t take very well, but I can pull the trigger on one now. Thanks for all the helpful info and convincing on here, and on the Facebook. Think I’m gonna go with the 28.

And if y'all need any advice be sure and ask. I've got 2 kamados, 3 different size fryers, stick burner and various grills and the Blackstone is my favorite cooker.

Honestly easiest thing to nail it especially for large groups.

Awesome. But seriously any y'all need tips or anything let me know.

Get it wipe packing grease out, use Crisco, or veggie oil, wipe it on fire up medium til smoke subsides. Let cool repeat, than first cook do something greasy:bacon, brats etc. Once seasoned Pam is all you need.

As far as cleaning after cook, buy a cheap 6 inch paint scraper. Also doubles as a better spatula than you can buy. If it's not horrible Pam and scraper. If it sticks, high heat, bottle of water and scrape than re season

I own3 size deep fryers, stick burner, 2 kamados multiple grills and this is by far the easiest to cook on. I prefer steak on charcoal but blackening seasoning will get it right. I use butter more than oil, prefer the taste

You'll love it. It Cooks so fast. 1 thing to note I see brought up in my cooking groups is lack of flame, I had this too, when you open propane cylinder go slow, the regulator on this thing can be picky.

Like I said earlier anyone have questions hit me up, I cook on this thing almost daily
