Completed my Royal Slam

Post by HarleyRiders97 »

Went to Mexico a few weeks back and was able to harvest a mature gobbler to complete my Royal Slam. The ranch we hunted on was chocked full of gobblers! For anyone who is nervous about traveling to Mexico because of safety concerns we had absolutely no issues at all. The Mexican people we met were very hospitable and kind. Never ever felt that we were in danger at all and we were 5 hours south of the border in Columbus, Mew Mexico! If you need your Gould's turkey by all means head to Mexico and enjoy yourself!

Beautiful bird! I'm thinking of going after one now that I've completed my slams.
