16ga Only Turkey Kills

Post by 2Shooter »

I’m starting this thread for the people that have a passion for turkey hunting with a 16ga turkey gun!!! Since we have TSS loads to hunt with now we have made the 16ga a great turkey gun!!! So, lets see some turkey pics taking with the shotgun referred to in the good ole days of quail hunting as the Gentleman’s Gauge!!! Steve

Thanks, had the barrel cut to 26”, and threaded for chokes. Added a X-full choke, and a Vortex Venom red dot.

Did you tape one of last year's beards to this one's beard to make it look that thick??
Otherwise, it is a nice bird.
You will be hearing from my lawyer about the patent infringement on your shell holder.
As you may be aware, I am all over the asparagus and broccoli growers for misusing my shell holders.
On a less serious matter, what did you do to the metal work to give it that flat black look?

Nice gobbler and gun. I have an old 870 16 in mint condition I'm planning to hunt with next season.
Are you shooting TSS and if so what kind of numbers are you getting with the X Full choke. I'm needing a choke tube install on my fixed mod barrel before I use it for turkeys.

Thanks, and yes I was shooting a1 7/8 oz of tss 9’s. I’m getting 280ish in the 10 at 40. I would try the fixed mod first, and go from there.

Nice gobbler!

Kudos on a sweet shooting 16ga! Looks fantastic!

How much money wrapped up in it? Minus the Venom costs of course

Congrats on the kills!

I've never killed anything but doves with my Sweet 16, but this makes me want to smoke one with it.
