The Nature of Things

Post by HunterGKS »

The leaves had pretty much changed & dropped around The Roost by the time I got there on Friday, 10/16/2015. While there were still some green areas, it was pretty much over. Thanks to the NYDEC, I missed a favorite part of the trip in the fall.

I went squirrel hunting the afternoon of Friday, 10/23/2015 & the leaves were still changing. I think the peak may be over but it’s still pretty colorful.

These are 2 maples in my west side yard. They are right next to each other with the yellow & red contrasting nicely.

We did get to experience a pretty cool sunset at The Roost.

If memory serves from my time down there, the only 2 colors in FL are green & brown.
