Frank, the fatass buck.
I had a lot of pictures of Frank this year. I named him Frank in honor of a guy I used to hunt with a lot. And, you know - "Frank the Tank." Maybe the best deer I've ever had on camera. Definitely the best one I've ever specifically hunted. I never saw him in person. He would show up on camera every week or two. Always in the dead of night. Even in the peek rut weeks, he would stand in this salt lick for 30 minutes or more. Occasionally with does around. Sometimes with smaller bucks pestering those does. Frank didn't seem to care. And he definitely didn't wear down or loose weight as the season went on. I’m guessing he got so fat he can’t mount a doe anymore, so he gave up. Now he just sleeps all day and eats everybody’s food while they chase does at night.
He made it through the season unscathed. Never even broke a tine. I'm afraid the diabetes will get him before next season, but it gives me something to hope for come October. Although if this year is any indication, I’ll need to get some good night vision gear.
He would score plenty, and I wish I could have found out exactly how much. But I would really love to know what he weighs. FYI - this is in TN where the biggest deer I’ve seen killed usually dress out at 160-170.

What a pig!
I bet he field dresses 250-275.
He needs to get chased so he can loose a killer weight

That is one heavy buck, even his forehead is fat
If he was a horse he would be in danger of foundering

Looks like he has shorter than normal legs, as well. That first pic of him without antlers, he looks like a pig/hog.
Be interesting to see what he weighs!

May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

His legs look short because his body is so fat. I’ve got lots of pics of him around other deer. He’s normal height. Just obese.

I've never seen a deer look so fat. He must be gay because he hasn't been chasing any tail

That's what I feel like after the Holidays every year.
He looks like a lost Canadian. Maybe he got tired of the cold winters up there and moved South.

He still produces testosterone or he wouldn’t have normal antlers and that giant neck. But I honestly dont think he chases/ruts like other bucks. I’m guessing some type of mechanical issue with his man parts.

It's terrible when a deer can't avoid being "fat shamed" on social media He's just big boned.

Well I just reread this and I don't appreciate you saying fat guys can't mount a doe or whatever anymore!

What a porker. I have an old pic of one with rolls and jowls. But he wasn't even close to Frank the Tank!

Re: Frank, the fatass buck.
No new pictures of Frank yet, but he didn’t show up until October last year. But since this thread got resurrected, he’s fresh on my mind.
One of the oddest things about him last year was how he morphed over just a few months. He was a stud when he showed up in October, but he wasn’t abnormally thick, much less obese like he was come December and January. I do think it was some kind of hormone imbalance. They all have a surge of testosterone when fall gets here, but it was like this deer’s body never stopped growing.

That is weird, I wonder if it's like an allergy of some sort. I think he is bloated or swollen. Maybe his pee hole is plugged
