Hoosier opener 19
My son and niece both tagged out within the first hour of yesterday’s firearm season opener
Niece drew first blood and is thankful she had the time to go (nursing school is a hard life)
My son shot his about 20 minutes after my niece
Killed it with his Browning X bolt 26 Nosler with handloads from the night before. 284 yards and he said it just buckled and never even moved.

Nicely done! Congrats to both!
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Re: Hoosier opener 19
Thank you all.
Soiltester your probably right. So far I have only had a forky and 4 doe in range. Haven’t see a buck worth shooting where I am hunting. Have seen plenty within the mile circle so you never know when they are gonna show up
Spidey if it wasn’t for the yewts it wouldn’t be worth hunting

Re: Hoosier opener 19
I’m not done yet
I won’t shoot one unless it’s a whopper or I get a case of the shakes then it’s game on
Re: Hoosier opener 19
From the pictures I would avoid chocolate, strawberry and vanilla shakes, just saying !
