New Treestand

Well guys, I picked this thing up today here in Winchester, VA. The company is based here and I actually go a decent deal on it. They had them all on display and I got to feel and touch all of them. I need to put it together and try to get it up maybe Friday or so. It seems very well built and actually the guy who owns the company started X-Stand here in Winchester, VA. He sold X-Stand and now he's designing Trophy Stands.

It may be worth a look. Once I get it up, I'll report back!

I watched the video on the ratchet strap for safety before you climb to add the final strap.

Innovative!

Well, I got the stand up today. Me and a buddy put it up. It was actually very easy and the jaws that tighten down with a ratchet strap worked well. The instructions were a little lacking, but we got it together and up the tree. It seems very well made and so far just trying it out, it appears to be comfortable.

Nice lookin stand. Looks strong and everything. Seat, not so much. Would have to sit in it and see.
Got in my Summit this morn, for the first time in three years. I had forgot just how solid and comfy it was. Didn't see a dadgum thing!!

Yea Tommy, I have a Summit self-climber. I don't use it a lot, but it is super comfy. I hope to get in this new stand this year, but arm surgery Tuesday will tell the tale. I'll see how it goes and go from there.

I still use one of the original summit climbers. It's heavy as all get out, but so comfortable that the carry weight is well worth it.

Does trophy make climbers? The site won't load on my phone.
