Post by HunterGKS »

I swapped cards on my trail cam yesterday & finally got around to looking at them. Lots 'n lots of does.

A buck in velvet.

A buck with only 1 side of his rack. Looks like he should have been at least an 8.

I thought they had already. I'm not seeing things, am I?? (I mean about the velvet. :violent1: )

MY BIL got some trail cam pics at his spot last week that the racks were hard.

This is the 1st set of velvet pics I have ever gotten.

Yesterday pulled cards from this past week, and larger bucks have all rubbed, smaller bucks are still in velvet yet.

GKS, I have shot a couple bucks on opening weekend that were still in velvet(which usually falls around the 28th of september). I am a bit farther north in the state than than you though. It is rare, but some will wear it until October.
