Took video of him checking out my doe scent I hung on a limb. Literally had him just beneath my stand. Nice buck and I’m hoping he makes it through firearm season and I get another encounter next season. So what do you all think he scores?

Nice I'm a oldtime moose hunter and just a recent deer hunter so I'm a novice at scoring I'll say 115 . I have maybe 4 about that size running around my spot and if they slip up I shoot them no waiting another year for me(unless they are a possible 10 or better then I let them go and hope for the best but usually never see them again) too many guys in fact I have 6 guys that ring the edge of the 50 acres I can hunt but thankfully its bow zone only no rifle or there would only be spikes left lol I also only get one tag and its buck only !

we seen a spike years ago that was 15” tall

With the mass he has and y’all brows, I would think 115-118

If he would have had 10” or taller g2-g3’s I would have smoke him

Man one of my close friends guides high fence and free range elk here is stupid good. Alot a times someone will post guess score/reveal later on our mi board. I don't think he's ever more than 3 inches off. Amazing

Mass is the hardest to judge, his mass is better than other features.

Backstraps are long gone for me and just finished up my last pound of ground meat so he might not make to next year for sure if near me !
