Some Bones From Brams Bones

Post by HunterGKS »

In the fall of 2009, I had the privilege to hunt with Mr. October, aka gblrsrst, aka Ron Meek in NY & got a jenny & a hen. I sent the bones to Gerry Bramblett of Brams Bones. In March of 2010, the magic mailperson dropped these off.

The top call, #450 is from the jenny & the bottom call, #451, is the hen. I'm not sure if the middle call, #453, is made from my bones. I need to contact Gerry to find out.

They all work pretty easy. I need to practice to become proficient. Thanks Gerry.

I had one of Bram's bones, identical to the one in the middle.

I had it in a cargo pocket and sat down to call a turkey, I guess my pants got tight and it snapped it in 2.

I glued it back together and it still runs, it's just not as pretty.
