Curious about value

Several years ago as I travelled through Mississippi on highway 82 I stopped at a small shop in Eupora. They had several styles of scratch boxes and a turtle shell call made by E. O. Mitchell. They gentleman in the shop said the turtle shell call was in the Smithsonian. I purchased two signed sets of calls. Gave one to a joining land owner to my lease for his collection, and kept one. Found them in a box recently and wondered if they were a desired item for collectors. Any information would be appreciated.
