I finally killed one. Turned out to be a decent 3 yr old bird. Had a 10" beard, 1 1/8" spurs, and weighed 19.6lbs. Pics coming later...

Not much of a story. He and his hens have headed the opposite way for the last 2 mornings, so this morn I snuck in to 100 yards from them on the roost and sat quiet to see which way they were gonna go. They pitch out and sail right in to 50 yards. 45 seconds later he was at 30, so I sent a 1 5/8 oz load of TSS9's towards him for self defense.
