I'll be in Mississippi, Ohio and West Virginia for sure this spring. May work in another state too. Hope everyone has a great spring.

As far as names it doesn't matter to me. Im sure one of you can come up with a better name than I could.

The Hermits seems appropriate at this point.

Bigspurs since your hunting in MS Im guessing your season will start first. When do ya open up down there? The only place I will be hunting is KY and our season doesn't open till April 18th.

Not real creative, so I am up for any name suggestions.

Kygobbler, I live in Ohio, just heading to Mississippi at the end of march. Gonna stop in Kentucky on the way back to let my girls hunt in the Boone for youth. Our season in Ohio comes in on April 20 immediately following our youth season. West Virginia comes in the following Monday, the 27th. I live close enough to WV to hunt both states in one morning if things go good. I'm usually in the woods every day for those 5 weeks. Between me and my girls we usually pile em up. This spring, I'm going to miss out on 2 days a week, due to situations beyond my control. Can't wait.

Judging from the replies from our team, I'd say the hermit gobbler May actually be a good name. Lol ....

Sometimes the quiet ones are the ones to worry about. I am good with the hermit gobblers. Strange but I know grumpy and I are a bit not right.

It's fine with me. I get very much not right once I start hunting. I'm no computer wizard so if anyone wants a banner, it can't be me creating it. I'm good with just killing bird's.

Yes I know Im late for the party but I won't be late for the shotguns to blasts.

Finally got my turkey sabbatical approved from work. I will be off from 4/18-5/12 so that should give me plenty of time to get myself and a few kids some birds.

Should be the Hermit Winners so we don't have to change the name later....lol

Tomorrow will be my 4th morning in south mississipp. So far I haven't found a single bird that wanted to gobble much at all. I sure have met some great people tho! Gonna keep lookin. There's gotta be one out there that would like to go home with me.

Hang in there Im sure you will get one soon. How much longer will you be able to hunt down there, before you next destination?

I'm staying here til Thursday morning then heading for kentucky for youth season. I'm hoping the girls can get on a couple there. We usually do well but pressure where we hunt has been getting worse every year.
I watched a longbeard fly up this evening. Hopefully I can find him in this maze in the morning. Without my phone maps, I'd be m.i.a!!!
