Well the leaves are out and fully grown. Turkeys have been gobbling and breeding since Feb 12th. We finally get a crack at them. Guys are hunting in MS, Al , SC and here down in Floruba for the last two weeks already. :violent1: Oh Well :dontknow: It is what it is.

Ha. I'm the worst guy on the team. I'm just lining up the excuses like Gobblenut does. Just in case.

Stick with it! I've been hearing enough here in SW GA for both of us so maybe they will fire up soon in your area as well.

I struck out on management area draw hunt. Never heard the first gobble. Actually heard one on private land and then a shot. Spent three days trying to cut a gobble. I am going back to my lease and see if they start gobbling this weekend. Man this is exciting. Ive talked to a few guys and the birds act like they are henned up still. They may or may not gobble on the roost. They fly down and go about their business. I am slightly discouraged but Huntn Ma texted me and said grow up and keep hunting cry baby. Wow she is such an inspiration.

Been there done that several times. It's easy to get discouraged in this game but try to remember that success may be just around the next corner.
