My favorite strikers to make are Bloodwood, Canarywood, and this high density laminate material. It is consistent, dense, finishes beautifully and makes a great striker. Well balanced and comfortable in the hand. So far feedback has been very positive and a few guys have bought a second after getting the first. I try to have them finish out within 5 to 10 grams to my target weight. These strikers took 1st and 4th in the Great Lakes Open Call Making Competition recently. What matters the most to me is that you and the turkeys like it.

The red one was mail to Missouri today. I am turning a all black one tomorrow for guy in North Carolina.

I can turn them with straight or flared tip. I prefer a little flare.
