Can anyone tell me how you can tell if a M L Lynch boxcall was made by him?
I have an old M L Lynch boxcall, I would like to know how you can tell if it was made by him or an early production model.

I have an old Lynch call signed by Mr. Lynch with the address Homewood, AL. written below. Does your call have any signatures, engravings, etc? Allen Jenkins knows alot about Lynch calls. Google Allen (or Alan) Jenkins calls and you will find a phone number. He was very helpful in identifying the approximate dates of my call (1939-1942).

Start with where it was made. Homewood, AL were the earliest and very likely he made all of them. Birmingham, Al were the next ones and most, if not all, were probably made by him (although he did have helpers during the later years). Liberty, MS is the next building location and none of these were likely made by Mr. Lynch. I believe this was primarily Mr. Jenkins shop under the Lynch name. I agree, he (Mr. Jenkins) would be one of the best contacts.
