Introductions...

Post by wiltznucs »

Hi Team 4,

I reckon I'll start the introductions. My name is Chad and I live outside Tampa, FL..

I'll be hunting Florida, Nebraska and Kansas this season. Possibly a trip to Texas too. With a little luck I hope to bag a few gobblers along the way.

As for a team name I'm open to suggestion...

Hi folks! My name is Jay and I live in south central Kentucky. I will be hunting Kansas and Kentucky for sure and possibly Tennessee and Florida.

I can't wait for the spring season to get here, I'm sick and tired of all this cold weather! Hopefully I'll be able to add some points to the team as well

Hi Team 4 "Snood Snipers",

After working 40 years at The University of Georgia and Mississippi State University, I have retired and moved back to where I was born in Southeastern Illinois in Lawrence County, Lukin Township. This is a rural farming community with lots of turkeys. I plan on hunting in Lawrence County, IL and in Mississippi. Maybe I will meet some of you in Nashville this weekend! Good hunting this year.

Terry

Just for the record, the average # of Long Beards taken last Spring was "4" per team 4 member! I don't know how big those birds get in Florida; we have two members from there, but the Long Beards in Ohio, Kentucky, and Illinois graze in soybean and corn fields most of the year. :D

That's right! Seems like my annual trip to Kansas produces the biggest birds for me.

That bird would be hard to beat anywhere. I didn't know how big those turkeys were, but those are big spurs! :D
