Copper call recommendations

Post by pcgobbler »

Interested in adding a copper call to my collection. I just ordered two new Hallorans that have yet to come yet. A metal mouth a double glass. A couple names I keep hearing on copper pots are Larry Gresser and Gary Tucker. Anybody have calls from these guys and how do you like them? Also what wood recommendations ?

Mike Yingling makes a nice sounding one that is 3". His name was mentioned in the thread about 3" or smaller calls. Got one and I like it. Gil

Check out http://tackettgamecalls.com. I received a copper for my birthday from a friend. Mighty nice call for sure.

I've had a Spring Allure copper for 5 years and now I have Ricky's smaller version. That small one is a killer. We pass it around our group and take it on trips. It has killed birds from Washington to Canada to Mexico to Maine to South Florida. It's sweet

I bought Ron Clough's--VIPER copper pot for the 2017 Spring Season. Very happy with it. It also gives out awesome kee-kee-runs. Will bring it out this Fall.

Mike is on Facebook. Don't think he has a website. He's also on OG. Gil
