We don't typically buy each other gifts. I can never bring myself to buy my own custom box call, but was easier to buy one as a gift. He's been using the same Lynch Fool Proof for 24 years. It's had a big sliver of the paddle missing for 10 years from him sitting on it. He kills birds with it every year. He tried to replace it but the new one didn't sound the same.

I think he's already worried about taking the new one to the woods....afraid he'll break it.

I bought him a custom pot call a few years ago that he uses. I've never bought myself one of those either.

Here's the box I carry. I don't use one very often at all. Maybe you guys should start taking up a collection for me .....

Actually, that thing screams when I need it to. Wouldn't take $100 for it. It has a nice patina about it .

Wow! That box has seen some battle.

I had SS build a box for my nephew and I couldn't be happier with it. Hopefully it serves my lil buddy well even after I'm gone.

Well, I'm not exactly sure. I have one neighbor. You would think that he could have warned me that his new,at the time, pair of rescued dogs liked to chew. One pair of leather work boots, my little girls rubber boots, and a box call later....I figured it out on my own. I like my call though
