Weatherby SA08 20 gauge. 28 inch barrel

Post by savduck »

Did a little shooting today with my weatherby. I havent shot it since adding the pistol grip, or with a truglo SSX or with federal 6s. All my yardages are steel taped.

With Truglo SSX

I might play with it a little more, but I'm happy with what she does. I get 140 - 150 with a SSX an Hevi 7's. My 835 & 935 bother me that I can't hit 300. I've tried tons of chokes and polished the tube on the 835, but my best was in the 270's. My bps 10 turns 330 + with the Nitro's, but that rascal is heavy and hasn't seen the woods in years. This year I plan on taking her to KS as my back up gun. Your twenty looks and shoots great.
