Decided to Camo my Boat for Duck Season

Post by The SPURSUADER »

Decided to Camo my Boat, Checked around and cheapest I found was $950? I said that the inside had a liner material and didn't need painting and it was still.....$950 So I said screw that!! I'll do it myself with rattle Cans because the Ducks don't care how fancy my Boat is lol...Looked at several different patterns and I rarely hunt the Marsh areas but rather just pull up into the timber and go at it so I went with the Natural Gear Camo....After the JOB of taking the Factory decals Off and prepping the Boat I started on the Back... NatGear Camo actually calls for a Khaki Base...But I went with the original Army green of my Boat as the Base Coat and I think it's gonna turn out OK...Besides...ANY Camo is COOL and this Boat will be different!!! Here's a few Pics of the Back that I finished today. Not sure about the motor yet but I think I'll just buy a 4XXL Shirt and sew the sleeves together along with the neck and just cover it.

Sorry for small pics..They are cell phone pictures but maybe you will get the idea

Should have painted it to look like a big plastic milk jug, would have blended right in then.
