Roasted Acorn Squash Slices Air Fryer

Post by HunterGKS »

A few months ago, I bought Air fryer. I have tried a few things in it but the only things that came out
really good were French fries & sweet potato chips. I has a couple of acorn squash & tried 1 tonight.
It turned out pretty well. I’m going to check for a recipe to do them in halves instead of slices.

Ingredients

Acorn squash
kosher salt about ¼ tsp. or a pinch
honey
unsalted butter

Steps

1. Cut squash in half removing seeds & stem.
2. Cut squash into slices.
3. Melted butter, honey, and salt and mix well.
4. Put squash slices in a bowl.
5. Add the honey, butter, & salt coating the slices.
6. Place the slices in the air fryer basket leaving space between each slice.
7. Cook for 15 minutes at 400 or until the squash is tender & golden brown.

NOTE: Feel free to baste again with the remaining honey butter mixture (optional) and roast for an additional 5 minutes or until desired doneness.

Enjoy!!!!
