moose roast

cooked up a small moose roast,,,seasoned with a precan rub I have,,,cooked on a hot grill to rare going medium rare,,,

sauteed some zucchini with onions (and the wife says I don't eat vegies when she ain't home!!) along with some sliced radishes,,,

served with the hood ol' horseradish sauce,,,love that stuff

little bloody for some,,,but I like it charred and rare!

Moose is some good stuff. Cooked some in the crockpot with patato,carrot and onion. Had some ground with pig fat to make hamburger and it was good in some chili.

I stopped moose hunting over ten years ago when our MNR management of them got to the point you needed 15 guys for a tag lol Some good eats there for sure !

That looks tasty!

Was at a fall turkey camp when our host served a broiled moose sirloin steak. Like something from the Flintstones cartoon, thing was huge, took up a whole cookie sheet. No marinade, no seasoning, just right under the broiler and it was awesome!

That looks like it's cooked perfect to me, only thing missing is a baked Maine bataeda and some butter.

Moose is about the best meat I've ate
