Something new

Post by HuntnMa »

I found this recipe on Facebook.... prep time 5 minutes.
4 cups or one box of broth, vegetable or chicken
1 can/jar mushrooms
2 cans/jars of Italian style tomatoes
1 bag of fresh spinach
1 container of tortellini , your choice of flavor
1 package of cream cheese
I'm sure you can add some onion and meat if you'd like but I didn't...probably should of but we'll see what this is like.
throw in a pot.....cook.....dinner is done :)

I just had it, OMG can you say YUMMY ? but I would add another couple of cups of broth to it, the tortellini sucks it up...I added garlic and some chicken bouillon to it as well. I think overall it was fabulous.

Y'all would like it, promise.......the hubby ate it and he's bringing the left overs for lunch...it's hearty, rich, not some sissy soup.... :thumbright:
I pretty much followed the FB recipe, I would add chicken or shrimp or ground venison, some kind of meat to it next time .

Actually Ma it looks pretty tasty, the one thing I would do different is to shred the spinach leaves
so not to have those funky looking spinach gobs.

No meat. Not a meal.

There are no numbers on any of my clocks below 8. Then all of a sudden, 2 days before turkey season they appear. Then right after the season they disappear.
What's up with that

One time I hooked up with Ma on a Management area during small game season.
She cooked venison burgers and hot dogs and all kinds of stuff. My nephew and I eat like kings. Even TS was there and said some kind words.

If she invites you to a cook out ...YOU GO.

Hint Hint...whens the next one MA?

I wouldn't lie to ya Grumpy.... but it does need meat in it....had it for lunch today and chicken or something would of been really nice.
