Pretty good morning....
We decided to give the teal we aren't killing a day off today. Dad and I have had some good trips, and caught some big fish, but this was one for the books. We kept 51 fish ranging from about 2-4lbs, and threw back 29. We may have had 2 or 3 fish we kept under 2lbs. All but about 5 of the fish we kept were caught on top water. That's tough to beat. A great 4 hours on the water.

Dang son, now that's a pile!!!
I'm trying to get someone to go with me today at this very moment, but everyone has excuses.
Lily don't want me going alone to Nickajack, for the big bass in the weeds, dragging frogs over the grass.
It's prime too, so I better get going in an hour.

Yellow Magic for me. Dad fished a frog, then switched to a Devil Horse. I honestly don't think it mattered much. Most days that $15 yellow magic out fishes any top water plug in the boat. I woulda been fine with a $4 Pop-R yesterday.vaturkey wrote:WOW Waddle Whacker ! That's alot of fish ! What yall throwing ?
Cleaning wasn't too bad. I was on the electric knife and dad was cutting rib cages...we were done in less than an hour. I even took a break so I didn't burn up my good knife! That rascal was hot!
