I don't know much about "Yankee Fishes"!!!

Perch are the best tasting fish on the planet. Especially the "Yankee" variety. :lol:
Forgot to take pics of the fry, Doug. We had three fish fry's and I never gave it a thought. :drunken:

What kind of bass are mixed in with the panfish ? Are they "Rock " bass ? I see crappie in there as well, nice mix !

Those are, indeed, rock bass. They actually eat really well. Most people frown on them because the other panfish are so abundant. Filleted out and deep fried, they are as good as anything. (In the spring is the only time we keep them). The meat is white and a lot like northern pike in texture. They have lots of ribs so we take the backstrap and the tail section for eating.
