This may be stupid to some of you but can some answer this....
If you have an encore centerfire rifle, how do you switch to a muzzle loader or shotgun?
I'm almost sure the muzzleloader would require a new forearm for the rod.
Thanks

Re: TC Encore questions
You buy the barrel that you want and probably a new forearm. Takes about 10 minutes to switch. The scope stays with the barrel so you would have to figure out how to handle that. i.e. quick detach mounts or a different scope or optic. Very easy deal. Hope this helps some..

Re: TC Encore questions
Rod comes with the barrel and forearm usually. If no forearm they all seem to have the rod with them
Do you have one?

Re: TC Encore questions
No but was thinking about what it would take to go from inline muzzleloader to something for coyotes, maybe 22-250 instead of buying 2 guns

Re: TC Encore questions
To change from a centerfire rifle to a muzzleloader on the Encore platform, you will need the barrel/ramrod and a new forearm. The forearm is typically sold separate from the barrel/ramrod. Just recently built another Encore so this is fresh in my mind. Hope this helps.

Re: TC Encore questions
It’s easy to swap barrels. But... I would much rather have a bolt or semiauto rifle for coyotes than a single shot.
I have 2 encores now. One with the 20ga turkey barrel and another in smokeless muzzleloader (45-70 converted to a muzzleloader)

Re: TC Encore questions
Each platform has a corresponding forearm. I have three, one for muzzleloader, one for 12 gauge and one for my .270. All are different. Not sure if 20 gauge barrel will fit 12 gauge forearm.

I use an Encore Pro Hunter with a .22-250 for coyotes. It is an absolute killer! I love it!
