Benelli M1 20 Gauge
Benelli M1 20 Gauge
Found one and bought it. Looks like it was kept in really nice condition. Old school realtree pattern. 26” barrel.
Can’t wait to put some tss through it.

Re: Benelli M1 20 Gauge
My only regret buying my M1 20ga is that I didn’t buy one 20 years earlier.
Here are my patterns out of my 20 ga M1 24” barrel with the 2 1/8 oz TSS recipe.
.555 then .552 IC
It’s now #1 in my turkey gun rotation. Killed birds this season in TX, LA, WI, WA and UT with the gun. The last bird I killed this season in Utah was 62 yards. Didn’t flop.

how do you fair with the recoil from a 2 1/8 load I shot one of these thru my 1100 20 gauge and decided on 1 7/16 oz lol

Drool! Would love to have an m1 20. Might even entertain trading my m1 12 gauge for one!

Re: Benelli M1 20 Gauge
I've shot an HK M1 since 1997 without issue. Probably have close to 10k rounds through it. I think $675 is a bit steep and would not really consider the sure cycle an upgrade which justifies any more money. IMO, the stock spring has more tension than the sure cycle and operates better. Wish I had bought 2 back then.

The M1 20ga is also a half lb lighter than the new ones.
