franchi affinity weight

im thinking about buying a franchi affinity 3 have a question for those that own one. its rated at 6 lb I think the original affinity was 5.5 lb? looking for the lightest weight. anyone know if these numbers are true if so does the old model weigh less? wanting a 24" barrel so I think im forced to buy a compact model maybe that's the weight difference?
