Vortex Venom cover

Post by kythunter »

Okay GN I just bought a Vortex Venom for spring turkey hunting. Probably going to put it on an 870 20ga but I have four 12's that I'm partial too so that may change but anyway I'll be using an Aimtech saddle mount.
I'm questioning whether to buy a protective cover or not. Does anyone not use one with no concerns? Or is this a must have for a red dot?

You don’t need a protector until you need it. I have been selling them and they sell so fast I haven’t been able to keep one on my 20ga 😆

Good advise hoobilly. I've seen your warbird protector on here pretty slick.

I'd highly recommend getting one, actually I'd get at least two for each gun. I have a couple and they are worth the investment, even if you never need it, it still looks like something a real turkey hunter should have.

Hoolbilly, I'll pm you my mailing addy for the commission checks.
