I don't think I'd like the big open circle. I guess I'm used to a little dot or crosshairs.

Cool. I need something that will handle the rigors of the moving barrel on the Auto 5. The Aimpoint works well but will get out of POA sync within 15 shots. Can’t chance that so the Aimpoint is on my Beretta 12 A400 Xtreme.

Not having to drill and tap some of my guns would be a welcome feature. I would like to see a smaller circle or a dot in the middle. Maybe you could use the bottom gap as your aiming point?

you would think it wouldnt bother the aim point
I was surprised myself - but after around 15 shots it creeped at least on my Sweet 16. I think it’s Bc the mounts are a polymer.

Before Aimpoint built the S1, they sold the Aimtech Rib Rider to mount their dots. I suspect if you bedded one to the vent rib so there's no room for movement, it'd stay or break.
