Anyone dipped their own gun?

I'm having the metal on my 870 youth ceracoated burnt bronze as we speak, I want to dip my shurshot stock and forearm in bottomland or obsession has anyone ever done the dipping themselves? I want something unique for this one cause it's a special gun to me.

I've done it. It's not hard if you have a big enough tub. Make sure you follow the kit instructions. The expense of the kit ain't much different than paying someone to do it right with the right equipment in my honest opinion having went that route before.

Tarjak has a special right now on Bottomland until the end of the month, they will dip the stock and forearm for 60.00 and from what I have read they do excellent work.
