Help Please - Stevens 555 needs trigger job

Post by bcturkeynut »

Recently purchased a Stevens 555 in 28ga. Love this little gun except for the trigger on the top barrel. My gauge measures it at 7.5lbs. and the bottom barrel at 4.25lbs. Has anyone on here had trigger work down on a 555 in the past? I would appreciate any recommendations of a gunsmith that could lighten the pull on this top barrel. Thanks

Sorry to hear. That’s a big spread between them. Hopefully someone on here can point you in the right direction

If no one here can, I would find your closest sporting clays range and go there and ask for help. Lots of fellers who do that will either work on their own or know a good guy to help you.
