I bought a couple Sumtoy bases for my Benelli shotguns. My receiver is d&t from the factory, I believe 8-40 screws. The screws that came with the bases are too small. Also holes in bases are too small for 8-40 screws. My questions are, where is the best place to pic up a few screws? How long do they need to be? And how should I go about drilling out the base for these larger screws? Any suggested method?

Thanks for yalls help. I had William install a couple bases on 2 guns that I had that weren't d&t already. He did excellent work!

My local ace hardware has a huge selection from fastenall or Hillman. In a bin labeled gun screws. I bet you can get an assortment from Amazon or brownells.
