Fixed full is how most go unless You get into the double barrels. Mossberg 500 and single shots very common. You may get one that shoots in the 130s or it may be well below 100. If it's below 100 at 40 you can send it to Sumtoy or briley to have threads cut for a choke. Sumtoy is very reasonable!

I'm gonna play with different loads more, but I'm well satisfied with that pattern. Excellent work on the choke and mount.

Circle could be drawn to center of the the mass of shot to get more numbers in the 10" but for me im gonna adjust point of aim to right center of that 10" ring and call it good. In my opinion there will be a 15" ring at 40 yards that there will be no escaping.
Thanks again William.
I plan on mounting my FF to this gun and patterning more later in the week.
Ok let me know how it does. It should do little better then that I think. If it dont pick up i send a choke to try.

I'd buy the fixed full 28" at the sale price, then send it to Sumtoy for barrel cut and choke.

No, that's what I started out with on my Yildiz single shot. You have to try it and see. A buddy gets over 130 in the 10 out of his Mossy 500 .410 fixed full. I was getting a three shot average of 100 in the 10 at 40 with my first Yildiz. I wanted it to do better so Sumtoy designed a choke for it which boosted the density and count substantially. The patterns with .410 guns with factory full are all over the place, even in the same model. The last two Yildiz singles I patterned were miserable in the 70's. With Sumtoy's magic, the count has more than doubled. I have a .410 Baikal MP-18 single-shot that shot 130 out of the box. My Savage 220B break action .410 single with factory full has done 110 in the 10 at 40 with TSS #9. Gil
