Any 20 gauge coyote hunters?

Anyone carry a 20 for coyotes? What load and choke? I thought about dabbling with some #3 buck, hevi, and tss. I'd like to carry in my 20 along with my rifle for when they show up hard and fast. The 20 ga 870 is so light andeasy to carry.
My thoughts were if they come in fast and close it shouldn't matter how big the bore is as long as the pattern is good - usually 5 in a 6 in circle with buckshot
