Hoobilly, at a recent gun show I saw one going for 650. In the 28 and 410, thats about fair. Mind you you might find it a bit cheaper or a little more. I believe I got my 28 bps for 630, had them price match me, and had my sales tax paid, and thought I got a heck of a deal. Buddy got one in a 410 and paid 680. Id say it kinda just differs.

The owner just texted me back, he's changed his mind for now. He found out what it may be worth and decided that he needed to keep it.

If published specs are accurate, the weight would rule out turkey hunting at least the way I hunt. At 7.5 lbs., it would carry like a 12, but always shoot like a .410. It would be pleasant to shoot on a dove field, however. Gil

Yeah your right. Way to heavy to just buy for turkey hunting with that weight. ESP if your bringing any youngsters

No one ever buys a Browning BPS for less carry weight. πŸ™„

if they made them with a titanium receiver to reduce weight, that would be cool
