My need turkey rig

Post by aristico »

Got myself a new turkey rig...

Winchester SX4 12ga with a 26 in tube and 3.5 chamber it is topped off with an ff3 on a sumtoy base...

Gonne be using a trulock choke on it....

Was looking at the sbe3 and this one but in the end didnt think the sbe3 was worth the extra grand ...

That ought to slay a few turkeys. Nice choice and a softer shooter than most.

You should be able to find the 3.5 for under 8 and the 3 in for around 7 or less

Nice. Bought one to duck and goose hunt with this year and their Longbeard 20 ga to turkey hunt with. A lot cheaper than a Browning and basically the same gun.My gold 12 ga 3.5 shoots killer with long beards and Carlson Longbeard choke.Same choke system you have there. Enjoy
