Been thinking about threading the barrel on a new england pardner single shot 12ga I have to use this spring it would sure be an easier gun for me to carry..
Any tips on what to look out for when buying a used barrel reamer and threader?
P.s. going to try and find one for Win Choke.

Don't do it?
You can send your barrel to Mike Orlen in MA, and he will do it RIGHT, guaranteed, for about $50 and you'll get it back in a couple days.

Mike doesn't seem to return emails. I hesitate to send a barrel and not be sure I'll get it back. Anyone used him recently?

I used him last year. Call him, don't email. I sent it out priority at the beginning of the week, it seems like it was done within a day of him receiving it and was in the mail back to me the next day. I'd like to say it was within a week total turnaround, including shipping.
