Need Some Stoeger Help.

Post by Hognutz »

A friend of a friend just bought a Stoeger 3500 (12ga.) and needs some help with a turkey choke. I am totally unfamiliar with this gun. He will probably be shooting Hevi-13 through it but may use Longbeard. Any suggestions for a choke would be appreciated.
Do they run the Benelli Mobile choke system? I have no clue!!
I would lean towards an Indian Creek but some advice would be great!!
Thanks,

Mike

I usually run a .675 or .685 in mine, but that is with TSS. Might want to choke it on down for the Win's and Hevi's.
Yes on the Mobil system.

I shot a .640 out of mine last year with Longbeards and got unbelievable lead patterns, around 270 in 10". Really, way too tight, not sure what I was thinking.

I ended the season with Hevi 7's through the Hevi-shot choke which is .656. The gun also shoots good with the cheap Tightwad choke. I really haven't found a bad choke for mine.

I'm running TSS through it this year with the Factory full.
