For turkey hunting I like the pistol grip.

My Benelli would kick like a Mossberg 835 with a pistol grip stock but then again I'm just a wimp with those 3 1/2" loads anymore
ever wonder where the white goes when the snow melts??

I shoot both a Benelli M2 with a pistol grip and an 870 with a straight stock. Both 20ga shooting 15/8 oz tss. Love both but usually carry the Benelli. Once I put a FF on the Remington it may get equal time!

I very-much prefer a pistol grip for turkeys. It's more comfortable with your gun propped up on a knew when awaiting on those stubborn rascals to show up. However, I often forget to remove it after the season...you ought to see the looks I get when showing up at a sporting clays event with a 20" barreled Benelli M2 that has a pistol grip! :D

Pistol grip for turkey hunting. I switched to this setup last year and wish I'd done it a long time ago, but I'm stubborn like that.

Pistol/SureShot for me. BUT with a SureShot you will probably need something besides the beads to aim with....

Picked up a Weatherby SA-459 with pistol a few years ago and I love that thing. It's about all I ever want to shoot anymore unless I'm toting the .410 Yildiz. A .410 pistol would be cool and I think I saw Tristar is making one.

Turning a yildiz .410 into a pistol is my next project

For turkey, pistol grip.

IMO, english straight stock is best suited for wingshooting. Love my matching pair of citori sporters.

I fell in love with her years ago. Dad bought it for a quail gun, slipped on a rock while hunting and split the bottom of the stock. Dowel pinned it and I shot it one year for dove. Haven't put her down since.

Something about this gun fits me and I shoot it extremely well. Lots of flying animals have been taken with it.ImageImageImage

pistol grip for turkey hunting for me.
I love the Wby 459 and the Remington thumb hole (shur shot I think is what they call it?)
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects

I have no need for a 30-06, I have a shotgun
