Yote In A Scrape!

Post by guesswho »

I'm not a fan of yote's but this is probably the best game-cam picture I ever got of a coyote.

No, it's actually a cheap Wildgame Innovations camera I caught on sale for $49, bought two just to see how they would do. They take really good day time pictures. I got some good turkey pictures with them last spring.

Looks like he knew he was getting his picture taken. He is pretty, but he still needs to die..
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

The time stamp said it was there at 10:40. So we could cross path's. That's about the time I'm roaming around checking my cameras.

Funny you mentioned the scrape. Several days ago, I was in my tree with a small 8 point 20yds out and 10 yds from his scrape. A fox came along and started rolling in his scrape, just like a dog rolls in something dead.
The buck finally ran him out of there, after a brief standoff. Guess he didn't care much for it.
Never seen anything like that before, but it was cool to watch in such close quarters.

I run four of them now and they all take exceptional daytime pictures. The night time pic's aren't bad as long as the subject is not moving. Here's a turkey picture from one of the other ones. And also a night picture with the same camera and location as the above yote. I guess I got lucky with mine, I've heard a lot of bad about the WGI's.
