Pretty Cool Opportunity

One of the fellas I turkey hunt with is an elk guide in our state.. He told me during turkey season I outta come up and tag along.. I talked to him the other day and he invited me anytime between the 14th and 17th and the Elk should be rocking.. They bat 100 percent and kill some monster bulls..

I most likely will not go the 14th or 15th do to goose.. Debating going at all, I may become so addicted I will have to drive out west each fall. :dontknow:

LOL Praying we get our push of molt migrants before the end of early season, its always close.. Optimistic for tomorrow NW 16.. Gonna hit um so hard they will starve to death as they will be scared of fields.

That's why I've never been. I hear it's a lot like turkey hunting, and I can't afford to get consumed by another critter besides turkey's. My marriage and finances couldn't take it. Plus and Elk is just to damned big!

There are no numbers on any of my clocks below 8. Then all of a sudden, 2 days before turkey season they appear. Then right after the season they disappear.
What's up with that
