Hunted the corn this afternoon. Never seen a deer but did see doe and possibly a small buck that had been running in the corn earlier. After 2 hours of walking and close to the end of the hunt I seen ol Wiley Coyote sleeping. Poor bugger never even had a chance. Aprox 20 yard shot and it just pushed him over when the Barnes 245 grain solid copper hit him. He lived long enough to know who his killer was.

That’s crazy he was sleeping in rows of corn and you snuck up that close in the snow. Good deal. Good riddance. I’m goin in morning to see if I can call another one up.

several years ago I had video'd walking up to a sleeping coyote in standing corn. I walked up close and kicked at him asking him what he was doing..

when he opened his eyes and seen me, you would have sworn he turned inside out to run

wish I had that video. I thought I had uploaded it to facebook, but couldnt find it.

and thank you all, hope you all kill as many as you can

Nice to see those type pics, and congrats!!!
AAHHHHH, reminds me of those windy days when I could walk corn fields in MI and not disturb a thing!!
Never did kill a buck, but the does that were left lying where they were as I passed on by them, and the different fox I stood over and watched their stomach movement as breathed in and out when sleeping
Never shot one cause I didn't want to spook that 32 pointer :LMAO:

So few deer here I have to shoot these fawn killers when opportunity arises.
