I took my lab out for some scaled quail hunting in southern New Mexico.
The numbers aren't anything like last year, but still good enough for a lot of fun and some really fine eating.
After a hard days work and some left over steak.

Pretty dog, That's for sure. Love Labs. Had em for 45 years. I'm without at the moment, but been thinking real hard lately.
Used to love hunting quail around our farm, but something happened over the years. Now there are none. Sure wasn't my shooting!
