Female coyote down

Post by OLE RASPY »

Hunted a new farm this morning that I got permission on in October and Killed this female on first set this morning at daylight. Called her in using pup in distress. Took about 15 minutes for her to come in to the call. Shot her at 30 yards in the neck. It was 28 degrees with 6mph winds.

Way to go, Raspy. Nicely done. What you shooting there.
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Im using a fox pro spitfire e-caller, been aiming to upgrade to a nicer one but this one is easier to carry and still is working great, ive called in several with it.
Im not that good with hand calls yet especially the vocals of a coyote. I can do a dying rabbit sound good on a hand held mouth call but that's about it
I usually sit the call and mojo critter 30 or 40 yards out in front of me.
Pup in distress is working great here lately.
Good job on your kill
