Pruners....
Apparently I have misplaced my pruners. I am in the market for a new pair. Any suggestions? I have my eye on these....any thoughts?

Re: Pruners....
I used their polesaw/pruner last week. It worked well enough. The pruner lever had to be reset by hand.
Re: Pruners....
Interesting looking tool, but at $45 plus shipping, I'll wait until somebody gives an evaluation from the field.

Yea, I actually found my pruners the other day......just where I left them......on my turkey belt! I found these pruners for $35 shipped, so I've asked for them from Santa:)

Personally, I like to take the natural route when tree trimming. If you're lucky, you can find a friendly, semi-domesticated 1 like I did.

I have several general locations where you can find some in the woods. My favorite are no longer made. Gil

Re: Pruners....
If you can find pruners with a rounded front that is far better than a sharp pointed pair. Gil

I carry a gerber fold-out saw / ratchet pruner kit for Turkey and Deer - For setting up treestands I use a Fiskars pole saw and a larger fold out saw I got at tractor supply - I keep a fold out saw in my 4 wheeler all the time.
