New 20ga
New 20ga
Ok folks...Looking to get a 20ga auto.
Handled a Franchi Affinity that felt great in my hands. Have also been wanting to see the Stoeger 3020 which is said to be a Turkish made clone of the Affinity. What say you? Get the Affinity and pay the premium or get the less expensive supposed Turkish made clone?

Look into the HatSan shotguns, made in Turkey and shoot clean, dirty, wet and whatever, pretty light weight too.

check the stoeger out and make the call you're the one who will have to use it. I am all for saving money for other hunting needs. That being said I will not shoot a gun that I feel is not up the quality of another just to save a hundred or so bucks. I believe shooter loves his stoeger.

The m2 is more than I want to spend
Looks like it will be the affinity...that stoeger in nowhere to be found. Guess its too new so no one has it in stock and have no eta for it either. With the season around the corner I dont want to wait much longer.

Yep, I love my Stoeger! It has turned into one of the best shotguns I've ever owned.
And I've had them all,... several fancy Beretta's, half a dozen Brownings, and now a Benelli, just to name a few. I bought the camo Stoeger, because I didn't want a real fancy gun to do all my dirty Turkey huntin work. It has turned out to be a lot more gun than expected.
I got lucky with Lily's Benelli, I traded that single shot 30-30, and a bunch of shells for it.
Had a total of $650 in it plus tax and BG check. For that price, I figgered something was wrong with it, but nope, it has done just fine, and is a joy to carry.
Don't really need another 20 now, but if I ever do, I wouldn't hesitate one bit to try the new Stoeger.

Re: New 20ga
Every time I look at the pics in this thread, it makes me want to sell my M2 and buy an Affinity, just to get it cerakoted like that.
