Primos Trigger Stick

Post by CamoMan4025 » September 16th, 2017, 7:02 am

Well, I got me one this week. It's a tripod Gen 3. I have been reading reviews and actually the BOG got better reviews, but the new Gen 3 is supposed to have some improvements to make it better. I got it for my elk hunt next October. I like the way the legs automatically lower when you pull the trigger and you don't have to lower them individually. It is a tad heavy, but hopefully it will aid in a steady hand when I lower the Weatherby on a 10 X 10 bull

I have had to jb weld on the piece that the stick slides up and down into the main shaft. It popped loose and the trigger part of the stick came out. Took forever for me to get it back together but I got it fixed. Mine is the 2nd gen mono shooting stick.

they are nice, but man make sure yours doesn't get loose. I will grab mine at the shop and take a picture of it and show you what I am talking about

Here's the problem spot.
The big tube is glued very good and the plastic collar will pop up and the big tube will slide off the small tube. Check yours and if needed jb weld around the big tube and reapply.
